별이 영어 공부 진짜로 열씸히 했나봐!^^
더듬더듬 읽었지만
살아있는 스토리가 나를 감동시키는군.^^
조카딸 Alice도 훌륭하고
별이도 훌륭해!
시카고 어디쯤에 있는지
언제 그 베지테리안 카페에 나도 한번 가보고 싶군.
그 집 천정에 별이 하나 반짝이고 있을 것 같어서...^^
시카고 우범지대 한켠을 명소로 바꿔놓은 그 동포 아가씨의 힘은 아마
한국에서 태어날 때부터 지니고 있던 용기와 끈기와 솜씨를 발휘한 덕분이었을거라...
믿고 싶다네..그리고 그녀의 노력에 찬사를 보내네.
시카고 트리뷴지에 소개될 정도라면 얼마나 자랑스러운 노력인가 말이야....그치?
그녀의 전공 장르가 무엇인지 알 수 없지만, 그녀의 졸업을 미리 축하하네. 그리고, 그녀의 예술도 사업처럼 승승장구하길 바라네.
그리고 자네 글에서 'admire'는 좋은 자리를 잡은 것 같네!
이 스토리는 잘 갖고 있다가, 시간 날 때, 좀 더 자세하게 채워넣길 바라네...
나도, 이 소감을 영어로 술술 쓸수 있다면 아주 좋겠지만.....그것은 아마 영원히 나의 희망사항으로만 남겠지 싶네...^^

│ Alice & Friends is vegeterian cafe in Chicago. My niece Alice manages that restaurant. Ten years had past when I met her last fall. We were suprrised, because we had changed. Soon after we were waterd by tears with gladness.

│ She left Korea ten years ago. She has a strong and business like mind. She didn't want a comfortable life without development. However, her life was not easy in America.
│
│ Everyday, Everytime Not only she didn't have to study hard but also had to work hard.
│
│ One day while she was walking along the street exhausted, she look up the sky, thinking her about home in her country. At that time, she tears fell down from her eyes.
│
│ She past by a begger who looked at her and gave her one dollar.
│
│ he said "cheer up! " My niece was amazed.
│
│ Three years ago the area where her cafe was placed became a crime area.
│
│ At first the cafe was a street people's house. She repaired it and took care the house. Now it became one of the most famous vegeterian cafe's to that extent.
│
│ The Chicago Tribune write an article introducing that cafe.
│
│ Alice & Friends provides a various vegeterian menu. It has a violet. yellow and green room. We can hear very calm and beautiful music.

│ Now she is 29 years old. she has one semaster remaining for graduating from the Columbia University. she majoed fine art.
│
│ I feel like I admire her whenever, I'm reminded of her story.
│
│ 지난 주 숙제로 썼던 에세이 숙제에요. 선생님 'admire' 라는 단어를 넣어서 에세이를 쓰라고 해서.. 쑥스럽지만 ... ^^;;
